History of department: Department of Medicine sudzhebnoy was established in 1938, founder and first chair was Professor AM Hamburg. Database of the Department in this period were: Kiev forensic mortuary and forensic ambuoaltoriya. Department of Work was resumed in 1944, in 1972, p. department was headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, V.P. Khomenok, with 1987 head. Department became MD, Professor J.P. Shupyk, the chief medical examiner MoH to 2005. Since February 2006 the department was headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor VD Mishalov - co-author of more than 100 publications s forensic medicine in specialized publications, 26 patents, 10 methodical rekomendatsіy approved by Ministry of Ukraine, co-author of six training and teaching tools in forensic medicine, issued with the stamp of the MES of Ukraine: 1) "Forensic Medicine in the drawings, diagrams, tables." As of 2011 under the leadership of VD Mishalova defended 8 PhD and 2 doctoral dissertation. The plan holds two master's theses. Has the highest medical category. Employees of the department is MD, Prof. J.P. Shupyk, PhD, Docent’s T.V. Hoholeva, O. Gurina, assistant - PhD G.A Zaritsky, A.J. Petroshak and senior assistant T.I. Kornienko. Since 1962, the first time the department began training doctors in forensic traumatology. Department of State database is Home Office forensic and Kiev City Bureau of Forensic Medicine. Teaching and Methodological Work: At the department are trained interns, masters, clinical residents and medical forensic experts in the cycle of thematic advanced training, probation, pre-certification for cycles.
