The specialists of NMAPE named after P.L.Shupyk actively work at Ukrainian Centre of Emergent consultative care. Great volumes of consultative care are provided to patients of Kyiv region. The Departments, based in Kyiv region clinical establishment , delivere consultations outside.

Optimized cooperation of the Academy and teaching clinics enables one to widely use medical equipment of hospitals and polyclinics. However, in the last 3 years, the Academy administration has managed to find own financial resources in order to get medical apparatus. Expensive equipment makes up a considerable part among acquired medical technical equipment, in particular, endoscopic, ultrasound apparatus and laboratory equipment.

All this enables using up-dated medical technologies when providing medicoconsultative work. First of all, up-to-date diagnostic methods concern the Departments of Ophthalmology, Surgery and Transplantology, Surgery of Heart and Magistral Vessels, Thoracic Surgery and Pulmonology.

The administration and determination of directions of clinical work at the Academy are perfomed by the Vice-rector for clinical work.
