History Data:
The department was founded in 1958. Heads of the department
were: prof. Lerner I.P. (1958-1961), prof. Dashtayants G.A.
(1962-1978), prof. Anduschenko E.V. (1978-1996), since 1996 until
the present time the head of the department is prof. Shvets
N.I.
Teaching and Methodological Activities:
At the department the following programs are
conducted:
Specialization: on major “Therapy”, term 5 months; 3
months (for the doctors with internship of “Gneral practice -
family medicine”)
Pre-attestation: on major “Therapy”, term 1 month
Thematic specialization: on therapy “Actual problems of
internal diseases (general therapy)”, term 2 weeks;
”Pharmacotherapy of internal diseases (with basics of
antihomotoxical therapy”, term 2 weeks.
Internship: on major “Internal diseases”, 2-year term,
6 months - first year, 5 months - second year.
Studying of contract basis for students of all programs and
interns is possible.
Preparation of clinical ordinators and aspirants is
conducted.
Scientific Research Activities:
Treatment of ischemia heart disease, hypertonic disease and
coronary deficiency, nutrition intolerability and nutrition
allergy.

doctors-students of courses of improvement of qualification, for
family doctor:
