History Data:
The Department of Food Hygiene, as an independent one, was founded in 1969. Later , a course of radiation hygiene was united to the department and it was named the department of food hygiene with a course of radiation hygiene. It functioned in such a composition up to 1992. In 1992 the course of radiation hygiene was united to medical radiology one, and the course of hygiene of children and teenagers was united to the department of food hygiene. The department has been functioning in such a composition until the present.
Teaching and Methodological Work:
The following courses are being carried out at the department:
Specialization: “Food hygiene”, “Hygiene of Children and Teenagers”
Pre-certification: “Food hygiene”, “Hygiene of Children and Teenagers”
Topical Advanced Training: “Selected issues of food hygiene”, “Hygienic Requirements of Children’s stay in Children’s Preschool Establishments”, “Current Preventive Sanitary Supervision in Children and Teenagers Hygiene”
The department may provide the training of specialists on a self-financing basis at the courses of specialization in specialities: “Food hygiene” and “Hygiene of children and teenagers”
Scientific Research Activities:
“Sciences а substantiation of the effectives measures on making healthier children in System of preschool education”
