History Data: The Department of therapy - 1 of the Kiev Institute of advancing of the doctors was based in 1921, as the maiden therapeutic stand in institute of advancing of the doctors. Among the employees of stand were outstanding scientific, the teachers, clinicians, public figures, have made which one the powerful contribution to development of the Ukrainian therapeutic school and opening-up of the therapeutists. The maiden manager by stand was the Prof. O.B. Berenshtein (1922-1931 гг.), which one with 1922 for 1938 headed the Kiev institute of advancing of the doctors. In that time in Kiev one of известнейших of therapeutic schools was built, which one headed В.П. Is model also his (its) schoolboys M.D. Strazhesko and M.M. Gubergrits. During following years stand managed: -Prof. V. Kh. Vasylenko (1931-1946), which one together with the academician M.D. Strazhesko has elaborated classification of a circulatory unefficiency, by which one prolong to use the clinicians many decades; -Prof. O.S. Berlyand (1946-1955), near to which one on stand worked the professors I.P. Lerner, G.S. Brusilovsky, Associate Professors Ye.M. Pertselay, A.I. Zarubina, T.E. Podvalnyukova; -Prof. D.F. Chebotaryov (1955-1961), which one in due course became the founder of Institute of a gerontology USSR АМS and has headed it, by the schoolboys of the Prof. D.F. Chebotaryov. Were the Academician O.V. Korkushko, Professors M.D. Kogut, P.S. Fedishyn, O.M. Sydorenko, which one worked on Department; -The professor, academician АН of a higher School I.M. Gandzha (1961-1993), which one was one of last schoolboys of the academician M.D. Strazhesko. The schoolboys of this outstanding scientist were the professors: Professors M.K. Furkalo, P.M. Bodnar, H.I. Lysenko, Associate Professors V. Kh. Radzivil, M.V. Bobryk, I.P. Myagka, V.M. Sacharchuk, L.M. Svyryd, V.P. Moschych, O.B. Yaschenko, L.F. Matyukha. Since 1993 the Department was headed by the doctor of medical sciences, Prof. H.I. Lysenko. December 18, 1996 in connection with necessity of implementation of the Concept of reforming of a system of public health services for Ukraine and opening-up of the specialists qualitatively of new type on a speciality "General practice - family medicine" the stand of therapy-1 was reorganized in stand of therapy and family medicine. March 6, 1997 to her adjoined a course of a clinical immunology and алергологии. Since 2001 the stand has a title Stand of family medicine. Department of family medicine approved by Central Medical Commission of Ukrainian Health Ministry of Ukraine as reference for post-diploma training of the family doctors. The employees support close intercoupling with 14 stands of family medicine of Ukraine, bodies (organs) of public health services on places, main specialists of areas. Teaching-methodical activity: On stand the cycles are carried out (conducted): Specializations (3 months) — "General practice - family medicine" pre-certification (1 month) — 1. "General practice - family medicine " 01.11-30.11.2005. 2. "Therapy" 14.02-16.03.2005. Interns: "General practice - family medicine" On Department the training on self-supporting conditions outside of the approved schedule is possible. For September, 2005 on stand 4 post-graduate students (on a speciality "Internal illnesses"), 15 clinical interns (on specialities "General practice - family medicine" and "Therapy"), 2 masters are trained Scientific activity: The Department of family medicine follows famous traditions of the Kiev schools терапевтов, the sources which one had known Ukrainian scientists - academicians В.П. Is model, V.P. Obraztsov, M.D. Strazhesko, V.Kh. Vasylenko, O.O. Bogomolets, I.M. Gandzha. For years of existence the stand studied a great circle of problems. In one of central problems, which one the stand was engaged, there was an analysis of a circulatory unefficiency from the point of view of violation (disturbance) of a function of all organism (M.D. Strazhesko, V.Kh. Vasylenko). Under the direction of the Prof. O.S. Berlyand were studied дистрофические of change of a cardiac muscle and influencing of a nervous system on a condition of a cardiovascular system. In problems of research of originating of allergic responses were engaged in due O.O. Bogomolets and M.D. Strazhesko. When the stand was headed by (with) the Prof. D.F. Chebotaryov, one of leading problems became analysis of age changes of an organism and features of flow of diseases in elderly and senile age. Over 30 years the department was headed by I.M. Gandzha, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher School. In that time the stand was engaged in analysis of problems of a physiological role of a copulative (connecting) tissue and changes of immunodefence at general diseases of a copulative (connecting) tissue and atherosclerosis. The immunological theory of development of an atherosclerosis was designed, his (its) miscellaneous forms (shapes) are described, the methods of preventive maintenance are designed. The considerable attention was given to analysis both treatment of rheumatic disease and general diseases of a copulative (connecting) tissue. The streptococcal theory of development of rheumatic disease has received further development and the joint role of a virus and streptococcal infection contamination in development of rheumatic disease and system vasculites was demonstrated. The analysis of miscellaneous kinds (views) of treatment of diseases of a copulative (connecting) tissue was conducted. The broad intrusion was received designed on stand by (with) methods экстракорпоральной of detoxification of a blood at general diseases of a copulative (connecting) tissue (hemosorption and плазмаферез). The large practical value was gained by (with) a method of a dermal biopsy for diagnostic of autoimmune processes. And at the present stage on stand the analysis of problems of risk factors in a course of autoimmune diseases (autoimmune hepatitis, myasthenia) is prolonged. Gated in are scientifically justified also in practical activity not medicamental methods of treatment of a pseudorheumatism (laser exposure of joints), bronchial asthma (normobaric intermittent hypoxytherapy, laser exposure, plasmapheresis). The role associate helicobacter infection contamination during rhematoid and jet arthritises, and also role of Prostaglandinums, as mediators of inflammatory process was investigated (studied) at a pseudorheumatism. During last years were executed (designed) following НИР, namely: "Value of the zymotic factors and immune violations (disturbance) in a pathogeny and clinic аутоаллергических of diseases" (1996-2000 г.г.); "Relationship of immune factors and viral infection with predictors of sudden in cardio-vascular diseases" (1999-2003 г.г.); "System development of monitoring of risk factors of development of an arterial hypertension and methods of their correction in conditions of activity of the family doctor" (2001-2003 г.г.) Лысенко is re-elected by the president of the Ukrainian Association of the family doctors. The employees of stand systematically participate in conferences, congresses, workshops. Medical activity: Educational and consulting bases of stand are: 1. Kiev regional hospital №1 (chief medical officer Анкин Н.Л.) with its (her) therapeutic separationes - rheumatological and allergological (40 коек), гастроэнтерологическое and nephrological (40 коек), торако-пульмонологический center (60 коек) and separation of a chronic haemodialysis; 2. Consulting polyclinic of the Kiev regional hospital (900 visits for gang); 3. Kiev regional кардио-rheumatological диспансер (chief medical officer к.м.н. Шпак В.П.): a hospital - 60 коек, polyclinic - 60 visits for gang; 4. Central polyclinic Дарницкого of region of. Kiev (chief medical officer Алентьева Л.И.) on 1000 visits per day; 5. Учебно-practical Center of Family medicine Дарницкого of region of. Kiev (chief medical officer Смищук Ю.А.) on 150 visits per day; 6. Переяслав-Khmelnitskiy Central district hospital of the Kiev area (chief medical officer Якименко В.Г.). Educational process, the scientific researches and medical activity are carried out (conducted) in separationes КОКБ and on polyclinical bases of stand, the circumventions of the professors, senior lecturers implement, on which one disassemble composite ill. The listeners are present at fulfilment of researches, which one are executed (designed) with the diagnostic, scientific and medical purpose, awakely participate in scientific - practical and патолого-anatomical conferences. The modern instrumentation available on bases, resolves to acquaint the listeners with all kinds (views) of laboratory and tool (instrument) researches (roentgen, computed tomography, УЗИ, bronchoscopy, ECG, холтеровское a monitoring of the ECG and HELL, pharmacological and allergological assays and assays with exercise stresses, ФЭГДС, рН-метрия, duodenal sounding (probing); research of the immune status, tracer techniques of research). Scientific-practical conference on family medicine (Odessa, 2000); 4. І Ukrainian Congress of the Family Doctors (Lviv, 2001); 5. Scientific-practical Conference on Family Medicine (Kharkov). 6. Ukrainian Scientific-practical Conference "Family medicine in Ukraine: scientific researches and practice of an intrusion" (Kiev, 2005); 7. ІІ Ukrainian Congress of the Family Doctors (Kharkov). The stand awakely participates in international partnership on an intrusion of family medicine; cooperated to Royal college of family medicine (Great Britain, 1998-2000 гг.), with international fund "Vidrodzhennya" (1998-1999 гг.); cooperates to the American international alliance of public health services (since 1999); with university Templ (USA, since 1999); Colorado’s by University (USA, since 1998). The scientific operating time (running times) of the employees of stand render assistance in development of international cooperation.
